Herbs de Provence

Herbs de Provence is a mix of herbs that is essential in French and Mediterranean cooking.  It only became popular in America after Julia Child introduced it in her lessons on French cooking. A favorite blend of herbs in Dr. Pete's kitchen, our version contains rosemary, thyme, savory, fennel seed, basil, lavender and marjoram. We love to season a hen with Herbs de Provence and cook in a paper bag in the oven. (Recipe found under recipe tab.) Don't stop there...season vegetables, tomato dishes, soups and stews and just about any dish to add a little South of France or sunny Mediterranean flair!  Hand packed in Ailey, GA.
